Marc Evans
Singer and Songwriter Marc A. Evans had his break-through with the Soulful House anthem ‘The Way You Love Me’ followed by ‘I Don’t Want You Anymore’ in that same year. In 2008 his debut album by the same name was released, also featuring songs like ‘Given Me Joy’ and ‘This Thing Called Love’. In 2009 his second Album ‘Intervention’ followed, proving: Marc Evans puts the Soul into Soulful House!

- Ann Sexton / Live Act
Ann Sexton
The wonderful "Southern Soulstress" Ann Sexton will be appearing for the fourth time as a lifetime resident, you will become a fan of this lady as soon as she opens her mouth on that stage and holds you under her spell with classics like "You're Losing Me" "Color My World Blue" and "Who's Gonna Love You". A dazzling experience guaranteed!

- Gloria Scott / Live Act
Gloria Scott
Gloria Scott was discovered by Barry White who produced her one and only album "What am I gonna do" in 1974. The album was largely ignored at the time of release, but the quality of songs like the title track and " A Case Of Too Much Lovemaking" made it a firm favourite on the soul scene. After 30 years of absence from the stage her comeback was breathtaking. Ensuring her status as a "Lifetime Resident", she will perform and inspire us again in April with classic and new material.

Baltic Soul Orchestra
Strong voices need strong backing. For this reason, we have our very own Baltic Soul Orchestra. Some of the very best musicians in Germany, join together to provide the perfect musical setting for many of our solo artists, under the watchful eye of Andrew McGuinness.

- Bernd Niedergesaess / Radio Host
Since the age of 13 Berndt has been an avid music collector, from Philly to Disco and 70s Soul and Funk. The Hamburg native soon became the resident DJ in various clubs playing Soul permeated with Lounge and Chilout, Latin and Nujazz.

- Dan D. / DJ Performance
Dan D. has been standing behind the turntables since 1988 playing his original records in some major cities around the world inc. a resident slot at Londons Soul Cafe, he has toured Japan, Italy and Spain to present new sets of 60s Northern Soul, Funk, 70s and Salsoul through to NU Soul and Soulful House for discerning music lovers.

- Eddie Piller / DJ Performance
Eddie Pillar founded Acid Jazz Records in 1987, (along with Gilles Peterson) signing bands like Jamiroqai and the Brand New Heavies, Mother Earth and the James Taylor Quartet, as well as Galliano, and helped to resurect the career of Terry Callier, his love of music from 60s Soul to modern day classics shines through in his sets and we will be forever grateful to him.

- Gabriel Bouffiere / DJ Performance
Gabriel will also join us with his definition of Soulful House, Disco Boogie and Funky Breaks. As a prolific collecter of records and later as a DJ including the promotion and resident DJ position at "The Summer Soul Festival "on the beautiful island of Hvar near Croatia he has marched forward. With headphones in hand on the island beach clubs he has played to mesmerised party people from all over the world alongside DJ royalty like Ian Poooley, D.J Smoove and Baltic Souls Dan.D. Back in Germany Gabriel produces his own songs and promotes DJ and Live ! events in various locations around Frankfurt and beyond.

- Hans Nieswandt / DJ Performance
DJ, Writer, Producer and Author: Hans has travelled around the world with his record case presenting the radio show "Electric Melodies" and bringing his "Whirlpool Productions" project "From Disco To Disco" into the Italian charts for many weeks in 1997. His books "Plus minus 8" and "Disco Ramilla" have made him known worldwide.

- Henry Storch / DJ Performance
Henry Storch started his Unique Record label in the 80s, the Unique Club followed in Düsseldorf in 1995. Every year we get "The New Testament Of Funk" from his record collection, a rich source of his legacy.

- Kenny B. / Radio Host
Born in 1942 in Jamaica, Kenny B is one of the most experienced DJs on the roster, playing percussion with his friend Carl Douglas (Kung Fu Fighting) and also for the "Goombay Dance Band". For 15 years, his "Third World Club" was an integral part of Hamburg's night life. Since 2007, every Thursday he hosts the "More Soul Show" along with Dan D.

- Lloyd Attrill / DJ Performance
Lloyd has been an avid record collector since the 70’s; his personal collection exceeds one hundred thousand and has taken 30 years to amass. He has been a DJ in England for many of those years and built a reputation as a stunning entertainer. Those who have the pleasure of knowing Lloyd Attrill will never forget him.

- Mick Farrer / DJ Performance
Mick has presented a regular show on Solar radio playing the latest soulful house releases of that time as well as journeys through Soul and Jazz from the 70s and 80s, since 1987 Mick has presented the famous Soul Cruises on the River Thames in London attracting prestigious DJs like, Trevor Nelson, Bobby and Steve, Dr Bob Jones, Steve Hobbs, Terry Jones, Gary Dennis and Baltic Souls own Dan. D.

- Miss Kelly Marie / DJ Performance
Ibiza, London, Tokyo - Wherever Kelly Marie plays you are guaranteed a hot night, with a unique blend of Soulful Funky and Latin House. As a resident DJ for Hed Kandi (known for their successful compilation series) she has created party ecstasy around the globe. In the past years, she brought the BSW dance floor to the boil, and she will join us once again!

- Mr. Brown / DJ Performance
Mr. Brown was the founder of Kassels first Soul Discotheque, SOUL CITY, way back in 1967. It was the adress for black american soldiers stationed in germany. Later, in the 70s, he toured US Army posts with his program "Mr. Brown´s Funky Disco" and worked with Artists like Ann Peebles, Edwin Starr, The Drifters etc. At the Baltic Soul Weekender he´ll present, just like last year , "The Many Faces Of Funk". This gig is a must for anybody who´s into the raw and the polished side of funky music of the 70s and 80s (mainly).

- Rob Wigley / DJ Performance
Rob has been involved with the UK rare soul scene since the early 1970s. He started out as a collector of original US Soul 45s and soon started DJing aged 16. Rob visited the USA since 1979 looking for rare records and ran the UK mail order “LaBeat Records. He was a founding father of The Prestatyn Soul Weekender- before leaving in 2007 to set up his own Promotion company with his wife Karen. Currently they are promoting the hugely successful Bridlington Soul Weekender and added The Scarborough Autumn Soul Weekender. Also, they are working as European Management for US Soul singer Melvin Davis. The Wigleys love the atmosphere and wonderful friends and Soul people at Baltic Soul Weekender and are looking forward to it.

- Steve Hobbs / DJ Performance
As a teenager, Eddie Pillar went to Steve’s gigs as a fan to hear the latest Jazz Funk records and today Steve Hobbs is highly regarded as a quality Soul DJ and presenter. For over 20 years he wrote for the legendary Blues and Soul magazine and is regarded as an ‘invisible’ member of the Nu Soul Drizabone formation.
