Charity Auction
Viva con Agua is auctioning a T-Shirt with autographs from artists at last years' Weekender; Kurtis Blow, Melba Moore, Ann Sexton and Gloria Scott among others. The auction will be held on Ebay and all proceeds will go towards the current Viva con Agua fresh drinking water project in Kenya.

We have recently been informed that due to important commitments in the USA, De La Soul have had to cancel their European Tour. Thus, we decided to bring you an artist who we were originally saving for next year's event: On friday evening Soul II Soul will be gracing the stage for you and we are most grateful for their positive spontaneous response at such short notice. Your ticket can be refunded until the 19th of March 2010

New Main Act at BSW
We are pleased to announce Soul II Soul as a new main act at the Baltic Soul Weekender. The soundsystem set up by Jazzy B in the late 80's became a major milestone in club culture the world over. Delivering hit after hit like, Back To Life, Keep On Movin' and Get A Life, these tunes and others from this revolutionary sound creator, have become the very life-soundtrack for a whole Party Generation and beyond. Children's program for Li'l Soulies
Children's book author Agatha Ngonyani and her team of experienced animators have prepared a selection of goodies for kiddies including; Face painting, children's theatre workshop and music workshop. In the evening, Agatha will be reading passages from her latest book, catering for children and their supervision right up until a half an hour after the last live performance has ended.

Remembering Teddy Pendergrass
One of the last musical geniuses, Teddy Pendergrass, sadly passed away yesterday at only 59 years of age. His death is a tragic loss for the music community and fans worldwide and all our hopes for presenting him at the BSW next year are now gone. Rest in peace, Teddy.

Thank You
It’s been more than five weeks now since we were all together enjoying the fabulous live shows and fantastic deejays at the Baltic Soul Weekender #3. A big thank you goes out to over 3,000 guests who made it possible for a festival of this quality to happen. Thanks to each and everyone of you for three days of laughter, smiles and dancing. Your exceptionally positive feedback gives us renewed strength to continue following this path.
We’d like to thank all the great live acts, the amazing Baltic Soul Orchestra, the Deejays and Radio Hosts for making BSW #3 a truly memorable one. Thanks for the love.
Thanks to all the teams and crew members that created the prefect atmosphere to every corner of the Weekender, and for making the show run smoothly, not to mention a whole years’ worth of planning and organisation.
